The world is waiting expectantly for a great harvest of souls. We are seeing God build His kingdom in many nations, especially where the Gospel has been suppressed and Christians are persecuted for speaking out and evangelising. Despite the resistance, our frontline workers are purposefully going about God’s instruction, sharing the Saviour with the lost, whatever the cost!
Practical and spiritual support is vital to this work and we have experienced an overwhelming number of requests due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of strict lockdown laws, people cannot go out to earn a living and are reliant on food parcels. In several restricted nations, as authorities distributed essential resources, Christians were excluded. This type of discrimination has deprived many of our brothers and sisters of basic human needs. Sadly, some have died of starvation because they have been turned away from food distribution centres.
As requests for help continue to flood into our office, we find the need is greater than our ability to provide, so we seek God’s help in deciding which projects to fund.
Proclaiming the Good News of Christ is the backbone of our faith. Frontline workers in restricted nations often place themselves in harm’s way to reach the lost, and we are committed to supporting them. Some countries are very closed, requiring creative solutions to requests for resources from God’s front line.
During this uncertain time, please continue to uphold our precious brothers and sisters in Christ. We are thankful for your unwavering support of our mission; it makes a difference in the lives of persecuted believers.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” Mathew 24:14.
